Total Body Skin Cancer Screening

SpotDoc is a skin-cancer-focused dermatology practice, from our flagship clinic in The Villages, Florida to partner practices in the tri-state area.

Why skin cancer is all we do

1 in 5Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime.

  • About 9,500 people are diagnosed with skin cancer every day.new diagnoses, US
  • More than 1 million Americans are living with melanoma.living with it today
  • Caught early, most skin cancers are highly treatable.our mission

That last line is the entire reason SpotDoc exists.

Statistics: American Academy of Dermatology, Skin Cancer Statistics.

Most skin checks rely on memory. Ours don’t.

Step 1

Scan.

Your visit starts in our full-body scanner. 92 cameras capture your entire skin surface, in about a second.

Step 2

Visualize.

The scan becomes a map of your skin. Every mole and spot is captured in close-up detail, easy for you and your clinician to see at a glance.

Step 3

Compare.

From your second visit on, new scans are compared with your earlier ones. We evaluate what is changing, not what no one can remember.

Step 4

Examine.

A clinician also examines your skin head to toe, in person. Anything that deserves a closer look gets a magnified dermoscopy image, added to your record.

Step 5

Act.

You leave with a plan the same day. And if a spot needs a biopsy, removal, or other treatment, that happens here too. Detection and treatment under one roof.

Very thorough exam. The special scan is interesting, so it can be checked against the next one for any changes. Wasn't diagnostic, more of a map.

Great experience. Quick, easy, and informative. Friendly and efficient staff.
Andrea G.Zocdoc
Hands down, the best place ever for dermatology care. So glad they're in The Villages. Thorough and professional.
